Running tomorrow...
Well, we are hitting the trail again tomorrow. I know we will go the 2 miles and maybe 3. I soaked in warm water for a bit and massaged the muscles some so they are feeling better. I just want to be able to move tomorrow. I dont mind a bit of soreness, but I hate pain. I am really looking forward to tomorrow though. I am liking this exercise idea. I am really liking the fact that I have someone to run with that knows what they are doing and can help me. I am really hopeful that I can even enter the Mud Run in August. There are only 2000 or 2500 available spots though, so we will have to see. I just need to get my lung capacity up in order to run better. I will get there though. One day at a time. Looks like Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will be our running days. I can't wait till I have been doing this for a couple of weeks and I can see improvement.
Ouch!!!
Well, the training yesterday was good but I am paying for it today. I am so sore. Even my chest is sore from huffing and puffing!!! I am glad though, in a way, it means that I really did so something. It will get easier as I go along. We may go running again tomorrow. I just hope that my legs can take it. Boy are they sore. What is really effective about taking care of muscle pain? I am chewing on ibuprofen every 4 hours, and it helps, but I wish that it would just not hurt. Oh well, this is the sucky part of training.
